- Educational Qualifications: Passed 10th (High School) exam from a recognized board, OR ITI equivalent, OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male Candidates: Should lift and carry 35 kg weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes, and run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds (Single chance).
- Female Candidates: Should lift and carry 20 kg weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes, and run 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds (Single chance).
